### AI agents — Hand your everyday tasks to AI agents: run from a messaging app, reliable and secure.
- Page: https://eliesluismans.com/en/work/ai-agents
- Summary: AI agents that run on their own on a server, each with a precise task: they act, keep watch, report back on Telegram and are checked by a second model, with a tracked budget and written safeguards.
- Technologies: Claude, ChatGPT, MCP, Ollama, n8n, Telegram, WhatsApp, Resend, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Hetzner, VPS Linux, GitHub
- Work: dozens of agents built (email triage, follow-ups, calendar, monitoring, reports, tenders, google reviews)
#### What an agent can do
- **Sort and answer emails**: It reads every message, files it, drafts the reply and only shows you what needs your input.
- **Follow up on quotes and invoices**: Unpaid invoices and unanswered quotes get a reminder at the right time, in the right tone.
- **Manage your calendar**: It suggests time slots, moves a meeting, sends the invite and a reminder the day before.
- **Read your documents**: Invoices, purchase orders, contracts: amounts, dates and references are extracted and filed in the right place.
- **Qualify your leads**: A request comes in: it fills in the record, adds it to your CRM and flags the ones worth a call.
- **Answer your customers**: Common questions, day or night, based on your own documents. Everything else is passed on to you.
- **Keep an eye on your market**: Competitors, tenders, prices, regulations: it watches, reads and sums up what matters.
- **Prepare your reports**: Every morning or every week, your numbers and what needs attention, without opening a spreadsheet.
- **Keep your tools up to date**: CRM, spreadsheets, accounting, project management: it copies, syncs and checks for you.
- **Your data, protected**: Encrypted access you can revoke at any time, and a local model when nothing should leave your premises.
- **Always on**: Running on a server, it restarts on its own if something goes wrong and alerts you if it stops.
- **Costs under control**: A small model to sort, a large one to write, caching and a spending cap: every cent is tracked.

#### Its interfaces
- **In your messaging app**: Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack or Teams: you message it like a colleague, and it replies, suggests and gets things done.
- **Approval in one click**: When an action needs your go-ahead, it brings it to you ready to send.
- **A briefing every morning**: What got done, what's waiting for you, and what it cost.
- **A dashboard**: A log of every action, plus costs, settings and safeguards, in a clear interface.

#### Frequently asked questions about agents
- **Is my data safe?** The agent only accesses what its task requires, through encrypted access you can cut off at any time. When data must not leave your premises, it can rely on a model that runs locally.
- **What if it makes a mistake?** Anything that commits your business needs your approval. Everything else is logged and reviewed by a second model, and I fine-tune its behavior during a trial phase, before it acts for real.
- **How much does it cost to run?** It depends on volume, but model costs usually stay modest. They're tracked to the cent, with a cap you set.
- **Do I need to change my tools?** No. The agent plugs into what you already use: your email, calendar, CRM, spreadsheets and accounting.

### Native apps — Custom iPhone, Android and macOS apps: smooth, integrated with the system and a pleasure to use.
- Page: https://eliesluismans.com/en/work/apps
- Summary: Mobile apps for iPhone and Android in React Native, and native macOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI, like the ones I built for my own needs: integrated with the system, fast, dependency-free, and local when needed, AI included.
- Technologies: Swift, SwiftUI, Expo / React Native, Firebase, TypeScript, Supabase, Apple Vision, FFmpeg, Pandoc, GitHub
- **Mandarine** (2026, Productivity, personal project): Convert, retouch and file a document in a single gesture: a wheel opens under the cursor.
  - Features: Conversions: 275 combinations across 45 image, audio, video and document formats ; Editing tools: 27 tools for photos, videos, audio and PDFs ; Actions: six quick actions, including sharing ; 100% local: no file is ever sent to a server, and the app is free.
- **Cleaner** (2026, Utility, personal project): Free up space on a Mac without anything deleted behind your back: everything is explained, nothing goes without your OK.
  - Features: Scan: 1.3 million files reviewed in 50 seconds, read-only ; Thirteen cleanup categories, ranked by risk level ; Everything explained: where each item lives, what it's for, what happens if you delete it ; No deletion without explicit confirmation; personal files go to the Trash.

#### Cleaner's principles
- **Read-only**: The scan changes nothing. Every deletion goes through a list to check, path by path, then a confirmation.
- **Everything explained**: Each item shows where it lives, what it's for and what happens if you delete it.
- **The right method**: What regenerates (caches, logs) is erased. Personal files go to the Trash, where you can still recover them.

## Frequently asked questions

### What kind of clients do I work with?
Mostly startups, solopreneurs and small, agile teams, in Belgium, France and across Europe. I also occasionally work with teams at larger companies on consulting or innovation projects.

### Do I work remotely?
Yes. I'm based in Brussels and happy to travel within Belgium and neighboring countries, but most projects run remotely, with regular video calls.

### How much does a project cost?
It all depends on the project. I adapt to your actual needs as well as your budget. What I build (website, software, AI agent or app) is quoted at a fixed price, set after a free first call. Consulting, audits and ongoing support are billed by the day or the hour.

### How quickly can we launch an MVP?
It depends on the project. I commit to delivering a first usable version as fast as possible: very often within a few weeks, sometimes within a few days. It then evolves until launch, with regular progress updates.

### Can I take over an existing project?
Yes. I start with an audit of the code and the infrastructure, then propose a plan to stabilize, improve or evolve the product.

### Which languages do I speak?
French, my native language, and English, which I speak fluently and in which I consume most of my technical content, written and spoken: both work just as well for conversations as for deliverables. I also get by in Spanish and know the basics of Dutch.
